Detectives are investigating a ram-raid burglary at a building society in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, according to Hellorayo. The attackers used a vehicle to ram through the facade of the building, forcing entry into the premises. Once inside, the perpetrators stole an automated teller machine (ATM) before fleeing the scene.
Officers responded immediately to the incident and secured the site. Detectives collected evidence and have since reviewed CCTV footage captured during the attack in an effort to identify the suspects responsible. At the time of reporting, no arrests had been made, and police appealed to the public for information about any suspicious activity observed in the vicinity of the building society around the time of the incident.
Businesses should consider reinforcing entry points and installing effective security measures to deter ram-raid attacks.
