A burglar has been given a suspended sentence after breaking into two business premises in Wigan, Greater Manchester, according to reports from 11 June 2026. The offences involved stealing thousands of pounds worth of goods from the targeted businesses, Msn reports. The burglar received his punishment from the judge following the convictions related to the break-ins.
Business premises remain vulnerable targets for organised theft. Installing alarm systems, improving door and window security, and maintaining good lighting can significantly reduce the risk of break-ins. CCTV systems and regular security audits are also recommended for all commercial properties.
