According to Hertsad, a security guard was assaulted during a theft from a shop in Harpenden. The incident involved a shoplifter who was later jailed following their actions at the shop. Hertsad reported that the staff member was bitten during the theft.
Shop staff and security personnel should be trained to recognise suspicious behaviour and to prioritise personal safety over merchandise, including when confronted by aggressive individuals.
