According to Basingstokegazette, three sheds and a garage were broken into in Basingstoke in an incident reported on 23 January 2026. Tools were stolen from the properties during the break-ins.
Residential and commercial property owners should ensure sheds and garages are secured with robust locks and consider installing motion-sensor lighting or security cameras to deter burglars and protect valuable tools and equipment.
