According to the BBC, thieves stole more than £300,000 of metal from a factory in Stone, Staffordshire. The theft was reported in an article published on 25 January 2026.
Factory operators should ensure perimeter fencing is secure, install motion-activated lighting and CCTV systems, and establish regular inventory checks to detect unauthorised removals of valuable materials.
