A 47-year-old man and a teenage boy are due to appear in court charged with a series of burglaries in west Leeds, according to BBC reports. The charges include a ram raid at a Morrisons supermarket located on Belle Vue Road, during which items were stolen from the store.
The man has been charged with robbery in connection with the incident, while both suspects were arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into the burglary spree. According to an article published on 13 February 2025, the pair were taken into custody by police following the series of offences across the west Leeds area.
Businesses are advised to review and strengthen their security measures, including reinforced entry points and surveillance systems, to deter and prevent break-ins.
