A man has been jailed for two years after an attempted ram raid on a supermarket in Cheltenham, according to BBC reports. Jack Bradley, 25, from Gloucestershire, was prosecuted following the incident that took place on 1 December 2023.
The attempted ram raid targeted a Tesco store. Bradley’s case highlights the serious consequences of such offences, which pose significant risks to both staff and customers in retail environments.
For businesses operating retail premises, investing in robust physical security measures—such as bollards, reinforced entrances, and monitored alarm systems—can significantly reduce the risk of ram raids and other break-in attempts.
