A vehicle was used to ram the entrance of the Bristol headquarters of defence technology firm Elbit Systems, according to reports published on 7 August 2024. Members of the campaign group Palestine Action allegedly carried out the attack. The incident led to multiple arrests, with a seventh person arrested following the ram raid, Bristolpost and the BBC report. The circumstances surrounding the incident prompted the defence firm to issue a public response regarding the matter.
Businesses storing high-value equipment or operating in sensitive sectors should consider reinforcing perimeter security and installing barriers to prevent vehicle-based attacks.
