Burglar jailed for dog flap break-in in Impington

A man from Great Yarmouth has been jailed for burglary at a residential property in Impington, Cambridgeshire, according to Cambridgeindependent. The offender gained entry through a dog flap and stole approximately £5,000 worth of items from the home. This was the second conviction in a series of similar break-ins involving the use of a dog flap to access properties.

Homeowners are advised to secure all entry points, including pet flaps, and consider installing additional locks or barriers that cannot be opened from outside.
