Police are investigating a shop burglary in Andover, according to reports published in April 2024. The break-in resulted in the theft of a cash register from the premises. According to Andoveradvertiser, the incident has left the shop owner saddened by the loss.
Hampshire Police released an image as part of the investigation, appealing for information from members of the public who may have witnessed the break-in or have details about those responsible.
Business owners should ensure that cash registers and other high-value equipment are secured and, where possible, not left visible to potential thieves. Consider installing CCTV, improving door and window locks, and reporting any suspicious activity to local police.
