Break-in reported in Bilston

According to an article published by the Scotsman on 27 February 2026, police are investigating a break-in at a property in Gardyveen Court, Bilston. The incident occurred on Friday, 20 February, between 11.45am and 12.30pm.

The Scotsman reports that jewellery with a five-figure value was stolen during the event. Police Scotland have stated they are keen to speak with the occupants of a white Peugeot van seen in the area around the time of the burglary. Detective Constable Jamie Donaldson is urging local residents and drivers to review private CCTV or dash-cam footage that may assist with the ongoing investigation.
