Marine equipment stolen in Teignbridge burglary
According to an article published on 3 June 2025, a burglary at a marine equipment supplier in Teignbridge resulted in the theft of approximately £150,000 worth of property. Devonlive reports that the stolen items included a quad bike, numerous outboard engines, and other marine equipment. It is believed that three men were involved in the incident.
Devonlive notes that this event is part of a broader series of break-ins targeting marine businesses across Devon and Cornwall between March and May of this year. Following police enquiries, the stolen property has since been recovered. PC Mark Bunney, who is leading the investigation, stated that authorities are keen to prevent further offences and protect businesses in the region. Devon and Cornwall Police are currently seeking information from the public regarding the incident, referencing number 50250128686.
Business owners are encouraged to review and bolster their security arrangements, particularly regarding overnight security, access points, and independently powered CCTV systems.
