Residential burglary in Tenby
According to an article published by Walesonline on 11 May 2025, a man identified as Mark Brook committed a burglary at a private residence on Lower Frog Street in Tenby. The incident occurred on 21 April of the previous year.
Walesonline reports that the perpetrator entered the home three times within the span of an hour while a woman was asleep upstairs. CCTV footage from a nearby property captured the individual testing door handles in the street between 6.20am and 7.30am. The footage showed the man entering the house and removing bottles of beer from the refrigerator on each occasion.
Following the report of the incident, the defendant was identified and arrested. The court heard that after being released on bail, the individual committed 14 further offences, including thefts from shops and assaults on staff, before being charged with the burglary five months later. During sentencing at Swansea Crown Court, the judge noted the defendant’s issues with controlled substances and imposed a custodial sentence.
