Investigation into Hawkinge residential burglary
According to an article published by Kentlive on 3 January 2025, three men have been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary that took place in Hawkinge. Kent Police were called to a property in the Corbett Road area on Sunday, November 3, following reports that occupants were threatened during the incident.
Kentlive reports that items, including watches and wall clocks, were stolen during the burglary. On January 3, officers conducted operations in Folkestone and Canterbury, leading to the arrest of three men aged 26, 33, and 53, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. All three individuals remain in custody.
This follows the earlier charging of two other people in November in relation to the same investigation. Their case is scheduled to be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on March 27.
