Intruder enters private home in west Hull
According to an article published on 21 November 2024 by Hulllive, a burglary occurred at a shared house on Boulevard in west Hull. The intruder, identified as 31-year-old Jordan Rodriguis, gained access to the property through a kitchen window.
Hulllive reports that residents discovered the man sitting on a sofa in the communal lounge. He had helped himself to ice cream from the freezer and was drinking a can of Tango. When confronted by an occupant, the intruder identified himself as “Jordan.” Police were called to the scene shortly after the discovery. Rodriguis later admitted to the burglary at Hull Crown Court, alongside charges relating to a theft at a Sainsbury’s in Hedon and an assault at a McDonald’s on Jameson Street.
One resident stated that the incident has left them feeling terrified and anxious both inside and outside of the property. Rodriguis, who has a history of 50 previous offences, remains in custody.
Ensure all windows and doors are securely locked, even when you are at home, to prevent unauthorized access.
