Violent burglary reported in Plymouth

According to an article published by the BBC on 15 October 2024, a man in his 20s was seriously injured during a burglary at a flat in Plymouth. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that three or four masked men wearing hoodies forced their way into the property on Wolsdon Street at approximately 22:40 BST on 7 October.

The BBC reports that the victim was repeatedly punched during the incident, resulting in a shoulder injury and serious facial injuries. The suspects stole cash and a pair of purple Nike TN Fireberry trainers valued at approximately £100. Authorities stated that the group is believed to have walked along Anstis Street before the attack and fled in the same direction afterward.

Police are currently seeking witnesses and are particularly interested in obtaining any video footage that may have captured the suspects. Those with information are encouraged to contact the force or Crimestoppers.
