Police appeal for information following Clifton ram raid
According to an article published by Lutontoday on 5 September 2024, police have released a photograph of a man they wish to speak with regarding a burglary and ram raid at a supermarket located on Shefford Road in Clifton.
The incident occurred on 20 April 2023. Officers are currently attempting to locate 38-year-old Benjamin Nicol from Dunstable in connection with the investigation. Detective Constable Emilia Tolomeo has urged anyone with information regarding Mr. Nicol’s whereabouts to come forward.
Members of the public can contact the police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 40/20767/23. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously through the independent charity CrimeStoppers at 0800 555 111.
Business owners are encouraged to review their security measures and ensure that surveillance systems are regularly maintained to help deter potential intruders.
