Investigation launched following supermarket burglary
According to an article published by Newsandstar on 12 August 2024, Cumbria Police have opened an investigation into a commercial burglary at a Morrisons supermarket in Workington. The incident occurred in the early hours of 12 August, at approximately 1.30am.
Newsandstar reports that offenders targeted an ATM located at the premises. The individuals were observed leaving the scene with a quantity of cash. Detectives are currently investigating the matter and are appealing for anyone with relevant information, including dashcam footage, to come forward.
