Theft of children’s motorbikes from Ilkley warehouse
According to an article published by Ilkleygazette on 21 May 2026, a warehouse located at Floor Decor Ilkley, 1 Dansk Way, was targeted in a burglary. The incident occurred overnight at approximately 12.10am on 21 May, when offenders forced entry into the premises.
The business owners reported that several items were removed, including a blue Yamaha motorbike with Rockstar decals and a white and blue Suzuki LT50 quad bike. A security worker at a nearby site reportedly witnessed two males pushing the bikes through a lane and car park area. Police officers patrolling the vicinity attempted to intervene, pursuing the suspects, but both individuals managed to escape.
The owners are appealing to the public for assistance, as the vehicles hold significant sentimental value. A £1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads directly to the recovery of the stolen bikes. Residents in Ilkley and surrounding areas are encouraged to review any available CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell camera footage from the night of the incident. Business owners are reminded to ensure all entry points are reinforced and that high-value inventory is secured with appropriate alarm systems.
