Stabbing incident reported in Edgware

According to an article published by Harrowonline on 18 May 2026, a 16-year-old boy was taken to a major trauma centre after being stabbed during a robbery in Edgware. The incident occurred on Watling Avenue, near Burnt Oak Underground station.

Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance, were called to the scene at approximately 4:17 p.m. on Monday, 18 May, following reports of an altercation. Upon arrival, officers located the teenager suffering from stab wounds. His injuries have since been assessed as non-life-threatening.

Harrowonline reports that no arrests have been made at this stage and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information regarding the incident contact the police on 101, quoting CAD 5202/18MAY, or reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously.
