Jewellery theft in Bromley
According to an article published on 7 August 2025, burglars stole £500,000 worth of jewellery from a private home in Bromley. Itv reports that the incident occurred on the evening of Monday, 30 December 2024.
According to Itv, three men forced entry through a bathroom window between 5.40pm and 6.25pm while the owners were out. The stolen items included family heirlooms, which the Metropolitan Police described as having significant sentimental value. Detective Constable Jamie White noted that many of the pieces are unique and has released images of the items to assist in the investigation.
The Metropolitan Police are asking anyone with information regarding the stolen goods or those handling them to contact them via 101, quoting reference 01/1257889/24, or to speak anonymously to Crimestoppers.
Ensure all windows and doors are securely locked when leaving your property unattended to deter potential intruders.
