Second burglary reported at Darras Hall residence
According to an article published by the Mirror on 15 November 2024, the family home of Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton, located in Darras Hall, Northumberland, has been targeted by burglars for the second time in ten months. The most recent incident occurred during the current international break.
The 28-year-old player addressed the incident on social media, issuing a plea for the intrusions to cease. Joelinton emphasized that his primary concern is the safety of his partner and three children, stating that he wishes for his home to be respected as a secure space for his family. The property was previously broken into in January while the midfielder was attending a match at St James’ Park. Northumbria Police were alerted to the scene during the initial incident, but the perpetrators had already fled by the time officers arrived.
