According to an article published on 8 June 2026 by Chroniclelive, an intruder smashed windows at an Eldon Gardens jewellery shop in Newcastle and stole £10,000 of jewellery.
High-value retail locations should employ reinforced glass, secure window shutters, and advanced alarm systems to deter break-ins.
