An attempted raid at a Wolverhampton city centre jewellers resulted in window damage, according to Expressandstar on 13 May 2024. Despite the incident, the shop remained open for business as usual. The attack targeted the jewellery store’s windows but did not result in a successful break-in. Expressandstar reported that the establishment continued normal operations following the attempted break-in. Jewellery retailers should consider installing reinforced windows, security shutters, and robust alarm systems to deter and prevent forced entry attempts.
