Attempted robbery at Brynteg village store
According to an article published by Northwalesdailypost on 13 February 2025, armed police officers responded to an attempted robbery at the AM/PM store located in Brynteg, Wrexham. The incident occurred at approximately 1:05 pm on Thursday, 13 February.
Northwalesdailypost reports that a man threatened a member of staff before fleeing the scene. According to the police statement, nothing was stolen during the encounter. Detective Chief Inspector Eleri Thomas confirmed that authorities are currently following several lines of enquiry to identify the individual responsible.
While North Wales Police noted that the presence of armed officers may have caused concern, they stated that there is no believed wider threat to residents.
