Burglar breaks into city centre bar in Sunderland

A burglar broke into a city centre bar in Sunderland and stole alcohol, according to Northernecho. The incident occurred sometime before an article covering the break-in was published on 17 April 2024. Security footage captured footage of the burglar helping himself to bottles of alcohol during the break-in, Northernecho reports.

The incident was among a series of bar break-ins in the area, with reports indicating the burglar involved subsequently returned to jail, according to Sunderlandecho.
