Break-in reported at Comberton Co-Op
According to an article published by Cambridgenews on 6 March 2025, police are investigating a burglary at a Co-Op store located on West Street in Comberton. Officers were called to the premises at approximately 1.45am on Thursday, 6 March.
Upon arrival, police discovered that a glass panel on the front door had been smashed and removed. CCTV footage captured three men wearing black balaclavas, gloves, hoodies, and trousers leaving the scene on foot in the direction of Toft. According to Cambridgenews, the suspects stole cigarettes and alcohol, though the total value of the stolen goods remains unknown.
No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are requesting that anyone with relevant information, CCTV, or dashcam footage contact them quoting reference 35/16033/25, or reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously.
Business owners are encouraged to ensure that all entry points are reinforced and that high-value inventory is stored in secure, monitored areas.
