A house on Hollow Drive in Thornton was broken into while the occupant was away over Christmas, according to an article published on 31 December 2025. Merseyside Police reports that thieves stole a family member’s ashes, along with watches and a television from the property.
Detectives have appealed for information from the public. Residents in the area are urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local authorities, particularly when homes are left unoccupied during holiday periods.
