Burglary at a Nottingham tattoo studio
According to an article published by Westbridgfordwire on 11 August 2024, a man has been charged following a burglary at a tattoo studio located on Derby Road in Nottingham. The incident, which occurred on Sunday 28 July, involved the theft of a safe containing approximately £4,000 in cash, two high-value cameras, and an iPad Pro.
Westbridgfordwire reports that the police investigation linked this burglary to two additional incidents in Nottingham city centre: a break-in at a restaurant on Stoney Street on 12 May, where a credit card was stolen, and an attempted theft at a cash machine on Waverley Street on 9 June.
A 59-year-old man from Nottingham has been charged with two counts of burglary, attempted theft, and failing to comply with a court order. He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 8 August, where he was granted conditional bail. He is scheduled to return to the same court on 20 September.
Business owners are encouraged to secure high-value items in reinforced safes and ensure that alarm systems are regularly tested and fully operational.
