Burglary at Carr’s Corner in Longframlington
According to an article published on 28 April 2026 by Chroniclelive, police are investigating a burglary at Carr’s Corner in Longframlington. The incident occurred on Sunday, when two hooded offenders forced entry into the shop shortly before 3:30am.
CCTV footage shared with Chroniclelive shows the individuals inside the premises, where they rummaged through stock and stole a quantity of cigarettes along with a scratchcard stand. The shop, which has served the local community for over five decades, remained open for business on Sunday despite the break-in.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police confirmed that inquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time. Authorities have requested that anyone with information contact the police via social media, the force website, or by calling 101, citing reference number NP-20260426-0148.
