Break-in at CEF electrical store in Selby
According to an article published on 25 March 2025 by Yorkpress, North Yorkshire Police are investigating a burglary at the CEF electrical store located on Prospect Way in Selby. The incident occurred between 9.20pm and 11.30pm on 20 March.
According to Yorkpress, thieves stole multiple power tools, armoured cable, and copper cable during the break-in. Authorities are currently searching for a white Mercedes Sprinter van featuring a black panel down the nearside of the vehicle, which was noted in connection with the crime.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have been travelling on Bawtry Road during the time of the incident or who has knowledge regarding the location of the stolen items.
