Break-in reported at Farnborough FC
According to an article published on 12 September 2025 by Itv, Farnborough FC has been targeted by burglars. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, 10 September, involved a group of masked individuals breaking into the football club’s grounds.
Itv reports that the intruders forced entry by smashing doors and locks, causing damage estimated in the low thousands of pounds. The stolen items include food and drinks from the bar, machinery, equipment from the club shop, and the wheels from the club’s minibus. Despite the presence of CCTV cameras, the perpetrators proceeded with the theft, with footage showing at least three individuals involved in the raid.
Club chairman Simon Gardener stated that the organization is working closely with Hampshire Police to assist with the investigation. The club, which is largely operated by volunteers, is currently working to repair the damage caused to their facilities. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information regarding the incident contact the police.
Businesses are encouraged to regularly review and upgrade their physical security measures, including reinforced locks and alarm systems, to deter unauthorized access.
