Police investigate burglary at Prestwich restaurant
According to an article published by the Manchester Evening News on 9 May 2024, forensics specialists have been investigating a burglary at Babbo Cucina Italiana in Prestwich. Police vehicles were seen at the Scholes Lane venue on Wednesday following reports that the restaurant had been broken into.
According to the owners, the front door window was smashed during the incident. In a statement shared on social media, the team expressed that they were heartbroken by the event but confirmed the restaurant would remain open for business. Greater Manchester Police confirmed they received a report of the burglary and that enquiries are currently ongoing. As of the time of the report, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
