The Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) on Queen Street in Exeter closed on 10 September 2025 following a burglary. According to Devonlive, the museum announced the closure that morning due to unforeseen circumstances resulting from the incident.

Police have released new CCTV images in connection with the break-in and are appealing for information. According to multiple press reports, antiques were stolen during the raid, with Devonlive reporting the theft valued at approximately £50,000. A serial offender has been linked to the burglary.
