A jewellery store in Hull city centre was targeted by burglars over the weekend, according to Hulllive. H Samuel, located on Prospect Street, had a large amount of jewellery stolen from the shop, with windows reportedly damaged during the raid.
The burglary highlights the ongoing risk to retail premises in busy city centres. Business owners are urged to review and strengthen their security measures, including alarm systems, window reinforcement, and CCTV coverage, to deter and detect break-ins.
