Investigation launched after Crawley phone shop robbery

According to an article published on 1 July 2024, Sussex Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a phone shop in Crawley. Itv reports that the incident occurred at the O2 premises on The Martlets at approximately 11.50am on 26 June.

According to Itv, two men forced their way into the shop’s stock room and stole goods valued at approximately £50,000. Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to identify in connection with the robbery. CID Supervisor Oli Robinson noted that the suspects appeared to have been in the area for some time prior to the incident and may have visited the store on earlier occasions.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the individuals or has information regarding the event to contact 101, quoting serial 612 of 26/06. The investigation remains ongoing as officers seek to identify the suspects involved in this daytime robbery.

Business owners are encouraged to review their security protocols and ensure that stock rooms are restricted to authorized personnel only.
