Police investigate ram-raid at Mansfield petrol station

According to an article published by the Nottinghampost on 9 January 2025, two men have been arrested following a ram-raid at a petrol station in Mansfield. Nottinghamshire Police reported that officers were called to the Tesco Extra garage on Jubilee Way South early on Wednesday, 8 January, after a vehicle was driven into the kiosk shortly before midnight.

The Nottinghampost reports that two suspects entered the shop through the damaged door and attempted to access a cigarette cabinet. However, the individuals fled the scene on foot after triggering the building’s intruder alarms. No items were reported stolen during the incident.

Following an analysis of CCTV footage and local inquiries, police arrested two men, aged 28 and 49, on suspicion of burglary. Detective Sergeant Elina Falcon stated that the investigation remains ongoing and has appealed for anyone with relevant dashcam, doorbell, or mobile phone footage to contact the authorities.
