A Range Rover was driven at speed into a jeweller’s in Walton on Thames, Surrey, in what has been described as a Black Friday ram raid incident. The incident, reported by Mirror, took place on 29 November 2024.
Ram raids, in which vehicles are deliberately driven into shop windows or storefronts to facilitate theft, remain a significant threat to retail businesses, particularly jewellery stores that hold high-value stock. Business owners are encouraged to implement robust security measures, including bollards, reinforced shutters, and alarm systems linked to local police response, to deter and prevent such attacks.
