Residential burglary in Newcastle
According to Chroniclelive, a serial burglar targeted the home of a couple in their 80s while they were sleeping. The incident occurred in Newcastle on 20 December 2023 at approximately 1am.
Chroniclelive reports that the perpetrator, identified as Anthony Johnson, entered the private residence during the night. Following the burglary, the individual was involved in crashes involving two stolen cars within the same timeframe.
