A Rolex store in Knightsbridge, Greater London, was targeted in an armed robbery according to an article published on 21 January 2026. Thenationalnews reports that six individuals, armed with machetes, carried out a smash-and-grab attack on the jeweller in what was described as a rapid and organised operation. The gang made off with luxury watches before fleeing the scene, causing what the press described as chaos among bystanders and in the surrounding commercial area.
Three suspects have since been charged in connection with the armed robbery, Thenationalnews reports. Police mounted an immediate investigation to locate the remaining individuals sought in relation to the incident.
Jewellers should ensure robust security measures, including CCTV, reinforced glass, alarm systems, and staff training for high-risk situations.
