Shop burglaries in Carlisle and Workington

Burglars targeted shops in both Carlisle and Workington, according to Newsandstar. In one incident on English Street, a man was arrested following a robbery at two shops where a bladed article was involved, Newsandstar reports. High-tech CCTV equipment proved instrumental in identifying and trapping those responsible for the raids across the two towns, according to an article published on 26 February 2025.
