Significant theft reported at Teignbridge storage facility
According to an article published on 3 June 2025 by Devonlive, a storage facility in Teignbridge has been targeted in a burglary resulting in the theft of approximately £150,000 worth of property. The stolen items included a quad bike, numerous outboard engines, and various pieces of marine equipment.
Devonlive reports that the incident is believed to have involved three men. Following police enquiries, the stolen property has since been recovered. PC Mark Bunney, who is leading the investigation, stated that this event appears to be part of a broader series of break-ins targeting marine businesses across Devon and Cornwall between March and May of this year.
