Vehicle break-ins reported in Bristol
According to an article published on 21 May 2026, Supertalk929 reports that police in Bristol, Virginia, have arrested a suspect from North Carolina in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins and the theft of an SUV that occurred earlier this month.
The suspect, 23-year-old Hunter Kersey, is charged with grand larceny. According to Supertalk929, the charges follow the theft of personal items and cash from vehicles in several neighborhoods, including Hill Park Drive. City reports indicate that surveillance footage captured Kersey stealing vehicles and removing valuables from inside them. Following his arrest, Kersey is being held without bond at the regional jail in Abingdon.
