Attempted burglary in Sunderland
According to an article published by the BBC on 22 November 2024, the home of reality TV star Charlotte Crosby was targeted in an attempted burglary. Her fiancé, Jake Ankers, stated on social media that the incident occurred while the family, including their two-year-old daughter, was present inside the property.
Durham Police confirmed that they received reports of a burglary at an address in Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland, at 19:00 GMT on Thursday. A spokesperson for the force stated that the suspects had fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers. No injuries were reported, and it is believed that no items were stolen during the incident.
