Attempted burglary in Sunderland
According to an article published by the BBC on 22 November 2024, reality TV star Charlotte Crosby and her fiancé, Jake Ankers, were the targets of an attempted burglary at their home in Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland.
Durham Police confirmed that the incident occurred at approximately 19:00 GMT on Thursday while the couple and their two-year-old daughter were present inside the property. A police spokesperson stated that the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. No injuries were reported, and it is believed that no items were stolen during the attempt.
The authorities are currently investigating the incident and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist with their inquiries.
