Sentencing for West Midlands jewellery thefts
According to an article published by the BBC on 4 July 2025, a 33-year-old man has been sentenced to two years in prison following a series of thefts from jewellery stores. The defendant, identified as Nick Dosanjh, pleaded guilty to nine charges of shop theft, with eight of these offences involving jewellery businesses across the West Midlands, including locations in Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Solihull, Brierley Hill, Wolverhampton, and Smethwick.
